In lack of hope? Think About These 7 Things.
Do you feel that everything is wrong? That there is no light at the end of the road? Rest assured, you are not alone in this kind of crisis and many people have been there. It’s not easy to stay optimistic and move forward when you’re in such a state, no matter what your background and circumstances. But know that it is possible to get by and know better days: if others have succeeded, you can do it too.
Here are some tips from these individuals. We hope they will help you appreciate what you have and continue to want to live life to the fullest!
The blow of blues: beneficial?
If you feel guilty about feeling bad, you stop right now: it’s a logical phenomenon and we all have to go through it. Some people do a lot better than others, and maybe you’re one of those people who have a hard time keeping their heads above the water.
Here is a first perspective to consider: having a shot of blues, in the end, is beneficial. It is a painful experience but contributes to your personal development.
Life is full of challenges and you will have to get out of your comfort zone. You will sometimes be confronted with very hard situations: it may be a family drama or a job in which you do not flourish, or simply manage your bills … anyway, you need to develop some tenacity in order to handle each challenge. And most of us reinforce ourselves through painful phases.
If you darken right now, see the meaning behind this difficulty: you go beyond a challenge, it is painful but it will bring you a lot in the end. We do not pretend that your suffering is justified, and you are not encouraged to do the masochist by looking for difficult situations. But when they arrive, be at peace: it’s an opportunity to become someone robust, able to resist better for the future.
Dissociate yourself from your sentences
Also understand that your sentences are reactions, not causes. If you suffer, it’s not because you deserve it. We are not experts in the field, but we have come to understand that “negative” emotions are rehearsed over and over again. And that very often we are our own hangman.
There is a good chance that you will also go over your sentences, simply out of habit. If you have the impression every day that everything is wrong, ask yourself: is this really the case? Or do you live the reminiscence of a bad experience by repeating words like “I’m worthless, my life does not make sense, there’s nothing good that waits for me … “?
We are all artists, to some degree: we are endowed with imagination and we often turn against ourselves. Identify your way of thinking when things are not going well: Are you looking for a pretext to continue to have the blues? It may be that you do it instinctively.
It’s behind you
It is certainly cliché, but the past is still in the past. The problem is that this sentence loses its meaning when we relive our suffering every day. Past becomes present and we enter a spiral infernal.
Be clear to yourself, even if you have a little bit of violence: your failures and your suffering are behind you. The situations that lead you to feel negative emotions have occurred, and they no longer exist. Now, what are you going to do? You can start from scratch. It is not a question of motivating you and blowing you up, but to make you understand that yes, you can move forward. It’s in your power. You are always the master, even if you do not direct the external circumstances.
If you’re alone, get inspired
It is not easy to get back on your feet if you have no one to support you with. You deserve support, however, just like anyone else. Many people are witnessing difficult times they have had to go through. Look for them, listen to them, and take inspiration from stories that are closest to you. I recommend looking for natural persons, who really exist and speak with authenticity. Do not be charmed by those so-called happiness gurus who bombard social networks with motivational messages. Look for real and relevant people, look for their interviews and try to find discussion circles where you can find out what you think.
Do not prove yourself: test
If you are at the bottom of the abyss, you may have a momentum of energy and want to win everything: your career, your personal situation … it’s very good and we encourage you. But keep your feet on the ground. You have to test what suits you best. Explore yourself, move slowly but surely. And you will find opportunities.
Follow a plan. One only.
The problem with many people in difficulty is that they are looking for “perfect” answers to their problems. Of course, they do not find them and end up collecting as much information as possible in the hope of overcoming their situations thanks to data overload.
This is not the right approach. It certainly leaves a good feeling but you will waste time and your energy. Choose a plan instead. An action. One Direction. And go for it.
This plan does not have to be perfect, it will not be. But you will be in the right direction because you will be ACTIVE. You will be involved and can strengthen yourself. It’s by creating experiences and getting closer to other people that you’ll be able to bounce back. But for that, you only need one plan. A guideline. Do not ask any more questions, and go!
Contractor Elliott Hulse testified some time ago, in a video on Youtube, about his depression. He brought a simple but meaningful analogy: ” To be depressed and to be overwhelmed by depression is to be persuaded that one is going through a perpetual winter, which will never stop. And if he does not put an end to his life, he will have the chance to realize that winter will eventually give way to summer. My friends, do not despair when the winter is in you: recognize that this is a cycle in which you evolve to become a better version of yourself. Stay on course, wait for the pain to pass and you’ll get better. “
We sincerely wish you good luck
